Noah Strandlund, a young, deeply insecure ex-vangelical in the midst of a faith crisis, dreams of marrying his childhood sweetheart, Anna. Upon asking her parents for her hand in marriage, Anna's father invites him first to attend a Christian men's retreat at an abandoned compound in the middle of the woods. When Noah discovers the group is led by Paul, a shadowy figure from his past, he is pushed to his limits, sacrificing his mental and physical health to meet the group's toxic standards of manhood. As Noah falls further into Paul's rabbit hole of deceit, he uncovers a seedy underbelly of Christian Nationalism and must fight his way out to save his loved ones and himself.
