The Geranium Deaths
GENRE FEATURE SCREENPLAY
Vicki-Ann Bush
synopsis
Alex McKenna is a 17yo, transgender boy, with a feisty girlfriend, Margaret, and a not so silent Italian family. He's not a fan of high school but has hopes for college. A pretty average life—on the outside. Alex is also sensitive to ghosts. Coming from a history of Italian witches, he shares this ability with his family.
Alex embraces this gift and with the love of Margaret, he copes with his secrets. That is until the bodies start piling up in the quiet Long Island town he lives in. Soon Alex and Margaret find themselves drawn into a mystery surrounding deaths that date back eighty years. With the help of his family, Alex begins to unravel the truth catapulting him and his family into the path of a powerful spell and ominous spirit.
Tracing back to a fire that took place in the very house he and his family reside in, Alex soon starts to realize the truth is far worse than he had imagined. Centering around Halloween, the deaths have been going on for over sixty years. Each time ending after October 31st. He now has only seven days to prevent further deaths and stop the spirit before it starts again in twelve months.
The story concludes in the same place it began decades ago—Alex's house. Gathered with his family and the potential victim they are protecting, they unleash the wrath of the underworld to defeat the murderer.
