COSMO

Miguel Valle

Cosmo, a ten-year-old boy passionate about space and astronauts, faces a home marked by abuse and loneliness after the loss of his mother. Immersed in a world of books on astronomy and physics, Cosmo finds solace and refuge in his imagination, where he becomes a fearless astronaut explorer.

The figure of his father, Ernesto, a man scarred by loss and alcoholism, is a painful contrast in his life. Despite his love for his son, their relationship is marked by frustration and violence. Ernesto struggles between the responsibility of being a father and his emotional incapacity.

Laura, the compassionate town librarian, becomes a beacon of hope for Cosmo. Through a shared love for reading, she nurtures his imagination and helps him face his fears and questions about the universe.

As Cosmo delves deeper into his imaginary world, an unexpected turn of events forces him to confront the clash between reality and fantasy. Trapped in a fight for survival, he must find the courage to face his painful reality and the determination to pursue his dreams of escape.
